Pallas Foods is a leading supplier to the catering sector and due to increased business within our Pastry and Bakery category we are currently recruiting a Pastry & Bakery Sales Specialist in Northern Ireland to join our existing dynamic and successful sales team. The purpose of this role is to build and maintain the category which incorporates fresh, frozen desserts and ingredients for both the foodservice and retail sector.
The successful candidates main functions will be:
- Assist the Category Manager and Sales Representatives in the development of our Pastry and Bakery category
- Manage the commercial performance of your assigned area
- To benchmark regional key trends within the sector
- Meet and exceed sales targets
- Maintain and grow the customer base
- Be responsive and flexible to your customers’ needs
Candidates will have the following:
- Proven Pastry/Bakery experience, with working knowledge of a broad range of products and ingredients within this field
- High level of flexibility
- Be a team player with ability to work on own initiative
- Have a proactive approach to customers’ needs
- Flexibility to travel is essential
- Full clean Driving Licence
